Do you have questions about our services or general information?
We may have already answered your question. On this page you will find some common questions and answers that may help you. If you do not find the answer to your specific question here, please do not hesitate to contact us.
General questions
Can tickets be returned or exchanged?
Tickets purchased for tours and active experiences on specific dates and times cannot be exchanged or returned. However, tickets are not issued “in your name”, if you are unable to attend you can donate the tickets etc.
Is the glassworks area wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the whole area of our glassworks is wheelchair accessible.
How can we reach you?
By car from Prague or Pilsen, the fastest way to get to the glassworks is to take the D5 motorway – take exit 14 to Beroun and then turn right after the second set of tracks in Beroun to Nižbor. Park conveniently in the glassworks area or in the parking lot by the BMX track (right behind the bridge).
The glassworks can also be easily reached by public transport, either by passenger train with the exit stop Nizbor or by regional bus with the exit stop Nizbor, odb.jel.st.

Is it possible to park in the glassworks area?
It is possible to park conveniently in the glassworks area or in the parking lot by the BMX track (right behind the bridge).
Can I take a stroller to the glassworks area?
The whole area is wheelchair accessible and adapted so that you can enter the glassworks with a stroller.
Can I bring my dog to the glassworks?
It is only possible to take your pets into the entire glassworks area with a muzzle and on a leash or in a carrier bag.
Is it possible to pay by card in the company shop?
Yes, you can pay by card in our company shop.
Is it necessary to reserve glassworks experiences in advance?
Yes, when you’re already making your way to us, we recommend booking the tour in advance. We wouldn’t want to disappoint you by finding the capacity filled at the time you arrive, and you miss out on the guided tour.
Experiences
Can tickets be returned or exchanged?
Tickets purchased for tours and active experiences on specific dates and times cannot be exchanged or returned. However, tickets are not issued “in your name”, if you are unable to attend you can donate the tickets etc.
Is it possible to accompany a person with a valid ticket for an experience, such as glass painting, grinding, or blowing?
Yes, one accompanying person is allowed to enter together with the participant of the experience. Accompanying persons are permitted, for example, for photography or video recording purposes, or if they are the legal guardian of a minor. However, the accompanying person is not allowed to actively participate in the experience itself.
Note: This rule does not apply to guided tours, where each participant must purchase a ticket.
Is it possible to make a booking for more than one person and services and pay for only part of them with a voucher?
Yes, of course, you can book tours and experiences for several people and at the end of the payment process insert the numbers of one or more vouchers to cover only part of the selected services, you will be asked to pay the difference with a card.
Is the glassworks area wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the whole area of our glassworks is wheelchair accessible.
Is there a minimum age for a child to try cutting or blowing?
All experiences take place under the expert supervision of our master glassblowers, but of course a certain amount of discipline is required, so we recommend considering your child’s individual abilities. However, it is not uncommon to have 5 year olds cutting a glass or trying blowing. 🙂
May I purchased a tour experience directly at the glassworks?
Yes, experiences can be purchased at the glassworks in the company shop. However, it is recommended to book experiences and guided tours in advance so that all places are not taken.
Which motifs can I cut on the glass?
Our experienced master glass-cutters have prepared several traditional motifs for you to cut. However, creativity knows no bounds. If you have any ideas or if you want to cut your initials, our masters will help you with that. 🙂

Gift vouchers
Are gift vouchers to the glassworks also suitable for children?
Children under the age of 6 years can normally take part in our experiences, some with the help of an adult, in the presence of an adult (responsible guardian).
If I haven't found a voucher on offer that matches what I'm interested in, is it possible to arrange another programme?
Yes, if we can, we will be happy to prepare a unique programme for you and issue you with a gift voucher. Please contact exkurze@visitruckl.com with your request.
Can I redeem the voucher outside normal working hours?
Yes, we can organise specific services such as private creative workshops outside of standard working hours or dates offered in the online booking system. Bookings should be made by phone or email at exkurze@visitruckl.com
What should I do if I haven't found any dates in the online bookings that suit me for redeeming the voucher?
Please contact us at exkurze@vistiturckl.com, we will get in touch and do our best to resolve to your full satisfaction.
Can the voucher be used after the expiry date?
Unfortunately this is not possible, the system identifies the unique number on the voucher, automatically evaluates the voucher as invalid and does not allow its credit when paying for the selected service. Therefore, please redeem your gift vouchers in time and plan your visit well in advance.
For companies
Can tickets be returned or exchanged?

Do you organise events outside normal working hours?
Yes, we try to adapt to the needs of our clients as much as possible.
How do you deal with catering?
We work with established suppliers and will always have a quote for the event drawn up to your specification and sent to you. If you have a preferred supplier, you can book them directly and we will charge you a fee for energy consumption and running costs, subject to agreement.
How much do events in the glassworks cost?
This question cannot be answered with one number. Please send us an inquiry with details and we will calculate everything for you.
Is it possible to organize an event for foreign clients?
Of course, our guides and coordinators communicate in English and are thus also available for interpretation during the workshops if needed.
Is it possible to park on the glassworks premises?
Yes, cars and buses can be parked on the premises as standard during events, however, the use of the outside areas and the capacity remaining for parking should be consulted in relation to the chosen programme and number of people.
What kind of event is the glasshouse best suited for?
The most common types of events we offer are workshops, corporate parties, teambuilding, public events with accompanying programme, etc.
For how many people is it possible to organize an event in the glassworks?
You can organize a private tour or a creative workshop for one person as well as an event for up to 500 participants.
How time-consuming is the programme in the glassworks?
The duration of the event is directly dependent on the number of people and the activities you wish to include in the programme, so we always recommend consulting your idea and we will design a turnkey scenario for you.
