May Day at the Glassworks

Come and celebrate the May Day at the Glassworks in Nizbor. It will be a day full of experiences, love and goodies. Come and make, cut or paint a crystal heart and you can also sip champagne, have a May dessert not only for lovers and kiss under the blossoming tree. After all, Nižbor by the Berounka River is an ideal place for nature walks.

Entry to the guided tour is not age-restricted. Creative experiences are suitable for children aged 6 and older, as well as adults of all ages. Younger children can participate with the help of an adult.

The glassworks bistro, in collaboration with the artisan bakery Just Bake, will prepare the finest Easter sweet breads and moss cupcakes to accompany your coffee.

Parking within the glassworks premises is free for the duration of the event.

Experiences in the Glassworks

Working with hot glass

1000 CZK

Choose your favorite color and shape the molten glass. You can make heart or blow glass or small vase. The finished piece requires industrial cooling and will be available for pickup in our store from next work day. Alternatively, we can ship it to your address in the Czech Republic for an additional fee of 100 CZK.

Experience with painting

May painting on crystal

The applied paints need to be industrially “baked”, so the product is available for pick-up in our shop from Friday or for an additional 100 CZK we will send it to your address in the Czech Republic.

Experience in the Glassworks:

May glass cutting

Under the guidance of an experienced glass Cutter, you can let your imagination run wild and cut your own design on a heart, glass, bowl . The price depends on the chosen product category.

Experiences can be purchased individually. Participation in the guided tour is recommended but not mandatory.

The experiences are suitable for adults of all ages and for children from 6 years old; younger children can participate with the assistance of parents.

There is no age restriction for the guided tour.
