Celebrate Halloween with us and get inspired by the Boo Boo collection, designed for you by our Art Director, Kateřina Handlová. For all creative enthusiasts, we have a unique opportunity on this day – to design your own Boo Boo glass and then craft it together with a master glassmaker in the workshop at a special price.
Children in costumes get FREE admission to the tour.

How does the Boo Boo glass blowing work? It’s simple. On-site, you’ll receive a drawing of a glass, which you can decorate with pencil or crayons according to your own ideas. Then you’ll blow the glass from hot molten glass into a mold using a glassmaker’s blowpipe, and together with the master glassmaker you’ll shape and embellish it. If you’d prefer to blow a standard glass or vase instead of a Boo Boo, you can of course choose on the spot. Your original blown piece will be sent to you after cooling, or you can pick it up directly from us.

Did you know that Halloween was originally the Celtic folk festival of Samhain? And we in Nizbor have a Celtic very close to us, so you will find Celtic symbols embossed in crystal and you will also be able to try to carve on the glass e.g. Nordic runes.

There is a spooky face painting for everyone, which will be conjured up by our artistic painter Romana Reindlová.

Ghosts, witches, ghosts and other creatures, everyone is allowed.

Active experiences

The experience on the glassworks:

Halloween Glass Blowing

Try your hand at working with glass sand under the guidance of an experienced master glassmaker and blow your  glass. The Special price includes admission to the glassblowing for one person, where under the guidance of a master glassmaker, you will try your hand at working with the glassblower’s pipe and create your own glass. We will cool it for you by the next day, and you can pick it up at our company store or we can deliver it to your agreed address for an additional fee. The duration of this experience is approximately 10 minutes.

 

You can pick up your own product from the next working day during the opening hours of the glassworks. Blowing is free of charge for picking up in person at the glassworks, for an additional 100 CZK only shipping to your address.
