Glass Cutting World Cup

5. 6.  & 6. 6. 2026 | 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM
7. 6. | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

We invite you to the Rückl glassworks for a unique three-day event, just 30 minutes from Prague, held as part of the Glass Cutting World Cup (GCWC), where it’s not only master craftsmanship that takes center stage, but above all memorable experiences for everyone.

Throughout the day, you can enjoy guided tours, an authentic glassworks experience, and a visit to the cutting workshop. You’ll get a close-up look at skilled artisans at work and discover the beauty of glassmaking firsthand.

The atmosphere will be complemented by a diverse food and drink offer — including street food, craft beers, and artisanal ice cream, so there’s something for everyone. Live performances will feature Michal Pavlíček Band and Edie Stoilow.

The program will also include a special gathering of glass cutters from around the world, showcasing their precision, creativity, and unique styles across several competition categories MORE.

This year’s edition is held under the auspices of the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel. This recognition confirms the importance of the entire event not only on a national but also on an international level, and highlights the importance of preserving traditional crafts for future generations.

For those who want to take part, an OPEN competition for the public will be held on Sunday, June 7. To register, please contact info@visitruckl.cz.

Come and enjoy an inspiring atmosphere, meet masters of their craft, and spend a day full of unique experiences, great food, and exceptional artistry.

Entry to the outdoor areas of the glassworks complex is free throughout the day, including access to the exhibition of the competition pieces. Admission to the glassworks for the hot shop jam session or the cutting exhibition is included in the price of the guided tours. Admission to the concerts from 7:00 PM is ticketed (390 CZK) and can be purchased online HERE.
