Celtic feast in the glassworks
10:00 – 15:00
The Celts belong to Nizbor and Beltain to the Celts. Just like last year, we join the celebration of this magical festival of spring, warmth, fire and life, which is also organized by Nizbor Castle, the information centre of Celtic culture. Before you head across the bridge to the castle, start the day with an unforgettable experience in our glassworks.
During a guided tour you will see how glassmakers work with the four elements, fire, water, earth and air. Those who want to experience it for themselves can try their hand at working with a glass pipe in our verstata under the guidance of an experienced master glassmaker, make their own vase or glass and stamp one of the Celtic symbols on it for an extra fee.
Creative adults and children alike will find something to do in the cutting room, carving their own designs, such as some of the Nordic runes on their crystal glass or bowl.
In the shop you will be able to buy Celtic symbols along with other handmade products of original design.
On site, you can enter a competition to win an original hand-cut crystal product with a Celtic theme from the hands of our artistic cutter Jaroslav Mádle. The winner will receive a one-of-a-kind piece of art from us.
Come to us and try your hand at glassblowing and cutting on crystal products, all at discounted prices.
