Easter at the Glassworks

Program

On Good Friday and Holy Saturday, we traditionally celebrate the arrival of spring at our glassworks. Come and try blowing your own colorful Easter egg at the furnace. With a glass cutter, you can engrave spring motifs onto limited-edition green glassware, and paint a crystal egg with our artistic painter.

Children can decorate gingerbread cookies in the creative workshop and weave a traditional Easter whip from willow twigs.

Admission to the guided tour is not age-restricted. Creative activities are suitable for children aged 6 and up, as well as adults of all ages; younger children can take part with the help of an adult.

Creative experiences

Workshop experience:

Easter egg blowing

Choose your favorite color and shape the molten glass. You can blow your own Easter egg, which needs to be cooled in a controlled process, so it will be available for collection in our shop from Tuesday, April 7, or we can ship it to your address within the Czech Republic for an additional fee of CZK 100

Painting studio experience

Creative workshop – glass egg painting

450 Kč

From start to finish—from designing your motif to painting with professional glass paints—you will create a unique crystal piece with your own hands. The experience lasts 30 minutes.

The applied colors need to be kiln-fired, so your piece will be available for collection in our shop from Tuesday, April 7, or we can ship it to your address within the Czech Republic for an additional fee of CZK 100.

Cutting workshop experience:

Cutting – limited-edition green glass

550 Kč

Under the guidance of an experienced master cutter, you can let your imagination run free and engrave your own motif on a limited-edition green glass, or choose a saucer, glass, bowl, candle holder, dish, or beer mug as a keepsake. The price depends on the selected product category.

Experiences can be purchased separately. Participation in the guided tour is recommended but not required.

The experiences are suitable for adults of all ages and for children from 6 years old; younger children can also take part with parental assistance.
